....never heard of hoyt....how old is the bow?
alot of hoyt owners think there better than mathews. they are very nice bows. one of the top bow companies out there. shoot it and see if your comfortable with it, like the way it feels etc.. i own an older hoyt bow and have been very happy with it.

which hoyt is it?
being a mathews man i say go with the mathews:whistling:.but i would try both and see what feels best to YOU:ph34r:
i have a hoyt lazertech and i couldnt be happier. but make sure you shoot all different bows because i believe that the bow chooses you so good luck.
Dean,

My recommendation for you is to shoot the bow and then ask yourself: Does it shoot well? Does it feel comfortable? Does is feel balanced? Would I be happy with this bow for the next several years? If you can honestly answer yes to these questions, then make the purchase. Don't get lured into something just because of the brand. It needs to be the right fit for you!

I own a Fred Bear Element that I shot against a Bowtech. IMO, the Element had a better feel, was quiter, and was actually faster by 10 fps than that same year Bowtech. I'm very happy with my Element, and can see myself being a Fred Bear customer for life. I think they make quality bows for a great value.
