Welcome to the site thomas. Thick swamps are usually a great hide out for deer. Try not to venture into the swamp because you risk running the deer out of the area. You may want to wait until your season is done and over with before you scout. If possible try finding a good trail between food and bed, possibly acorns because they are pretty much a preferred food for deer especially when the temps drop.
