I use the water bottle that came with my fanny pack
and use the gatorade bottle i drink from for back up

if im not in a tree stand i use the nearest tree, if i'm in a stand i hold it.
I pack a large gaterade bottle. Its big enough I can usually get two or three pee breaks in it, I usually set a long time and it sure helps to release yourself without having to come out of the tree or spreading unwanted scent in your hunting area

i'm totally convinced that human urine does not scare deer, through personal experiences and stories like Delbert's, that we hear all the time,
I no longer worrie about relieving myself when i'm in the woods but only if i have to, I don't go into the woods to purposely relieve myself,
I always try to go before entering the woods.

i've heard of guy's useing their wife's pee when they were on their period as attractants. but to me it would seem kind of pointless to spend 100's of dollars of scent away and smell elimanator stuff and turn around and take a pee and put human smell there at your hunting area.

ok, there are ALOT of jokes that could come from this post ONF!!! hahaha
But one argument I have about peeing outdoors is this... there are ALOT of animals that pee all around, Cows, coyotes, bobcats, *****, turkeys, opossums, bears, etc.... I don't think a deer is able to distingish the difference between a human's pee and another animals. I think they only worry about the deer pee. Now, I'm not saying pee in one spot over and over and over again, the deer will probably avoid that area for awhile, but if you only pee there once or twice, I don't think they'll make anything of it.
one other thing... you have to keep in mind some of our members here are older people... up there in their years. I'm not going to name names, but one guy in particular probably has to "GO" quite frequently. I mean, he's really "UP THERE" in age. I'm kinda surprised he knows what a computer is b/c they first came out when he was in his late 60's....
well i guess it would also depent for me too what kind of hunting i was doing. if i was gun hunting and looking at shooting a deer at 100 yards away i wouldnt care, heck i would even use the scent control products to mask myself, deer come that close to the house. i guess im speaking more in a bow hunting mind and thinking of geting the deer in under 20 yards. we as humans may not look at pee as animals do but they use it for every thing, breeding, teriroty, fox use their unine to keep track of the areas they search at night for food as kind of perimiter markers, and to me putting freash warm pee on the tree would tell any animal that some other animal (sure mabey not a human but if you smelled urine all the time like they do,.. who knows ) is in the area and they go around and avoid it at least the big buck will i bet, of corse the little yearlings will run right in and check it out caz they dont know any better. but thats why everyone sees the little ones and on rare ocasins a big gun will guff up but not offten and its usualy caz hes got his nose up a doe butt lol

O an when I told my wife about my budy using his wife's urine last year, she said "let me guess your wanting to start fallowing me to the bathroom, I don't think so ! " n I said well that's ok for now caz I'm not desperate yet there's still plenty of season left but if I still have tags rounding the last weeks of season :lol::lol:

I used to pee far away from the hunting area but have noticed that deer aren't too bothered by it. In fact, I have seen deer checking out the pee area and sniffing it and stuff.
All this talk about peeing makes me have to go!
