Hi there! Everyone kept asking to see proof of this hunt so I finally posted my famous sheep hunt video in which I bare my butt to mimic a sheep in order to get close enough for my bow shot! Are the sheep that dumb? Ive never hunted them or read about them so someone would have to shed a little light my way. Whats their defense? Nose, eyes?? They must have poor eyesight, right?

Actually no, not sure if many people have used that trick. My husband saw a video once where a guy was sneaking up on a ram with a white towel covering his butt and he got the ram. Well....I had been up there packed in for 2 weeks with only my backpack so I didn't really have a white towel with me. So I used the next best thing. I was pretty surprised when I looked up and saw that the ram was coming toward me. Long story shot...it worked! And yeah because big rams are one of the hardest animals to hunt, especially with a bow. Plus we got a great laugh out of the video!

I love the creativity in this hunt but I know If I were present watching this play out I would have been laughing too loud and scared all the sheep off!
