I don't mind the heat so much as the humidity. I don't know how you guys from the south do it.It's been in the upper 80's and lower 90's with the dew point around 70.

same here critter, pretty hard for us northerners to take! Was same thing in Canada last week, no air cond in the cabin.:green:

We stay in the house or under a tree! Work early mornings and late afternoons if we have to do something outside. Thats how I do it anyway. These guys that work outside in the nurserys all day just seem to become accustom to it. Lots of water.
The last day we had in the 80's was July 2nd. It did cool off last weekend for the picnic...got into the low to mid 90's. I'd love to have some 80 degree days....

Im from georgia... our highs are usually 97 or higher with heat index of 110. but your right the heats not as bad with low humidity
I was in mississippi bout 2 weeks ago.. feels bout like georgia. Im just ready for the cooler weather

Humidity might actually slow down certain animals, making them easier targets.
