Back in 1973-4 I had a similar short hair, had a little ticking on a white body. His head was half liver and half white, loved that dog. My second short hair was a problem dog and Dad made me sell him, a climber, pretty much a basket case stupid dog.

yea the old boy has always been a bit jittery. if you pushed at him watch out he might bite. these days it doesn't take any pushing. i swear one of these days he'll go through the door if a stranger rings the bell. if i'm right there he just waits in the background to see if i say it all clear. i really kinda approve. they are great dogs. the younger one is a knuckle head but only cause he wants to be. the wife says the young one is stupid but she knows he's more like a teen age boy. hope to get them out more in oct.
