There is this book called "Lost in the Barrens" and it looks like a good book but before I might waste my money I just thought I would ask to see if any of you have read it and if it is good or bad.
I cant remember all the authors names.. Its a style like "lord of the rings" in most of them.. Tolkien, Robert Jordan, and a series Im reading right now which is wrote by David Eddings.
Farley Mowat was a Canadian who wrote Never Cry Wolf about his adventures as a fledging wildlife biologist for the Canadian government. The book was great reading and was made into a Disney movie. Of course, as a Disney movie, it had to make hunters look bad. I thought some of the book was a little fanciful - if not downright made up, at least an exaggeration or perhaps just bad science. The book you are looking at is probably an interetsing one. If you get it, let me (us) know what you think of it.
