This is good folks. Reverting back to the old rules for the following:

Clock doesn't start on change of possesion until team starts first play.

Clock doesn't start on kickoffs, only when the ball is caught.

Moving back 5 yards on the kickoff.

You may not believe it, but the rules in effect for the college football season last year actually made the teams run 10 to 15 less plays a game, with more commercials basically.

i absolutely hated the fact that the play clock would start whenever the ref set the ball on change of possesion.

There's nothing quite like a good last-minute comeback in college football. Those changes last year pretty much killed them. Glad to see they're rolling them back.
