Today had me feeling pretty good! My neighbor, co-worker, and one of my best hunting buddies just retired after 32 years at the plant. We all took up a collection and I went to Bass Pro and got him a new Horton Brotherhood crossbow package. This will keep him in the woods hunting as he is 65 so I get some benefits from the gift too. He was shocked to say the least. I then gave him one of my knives to add to his retirement gifts. After our Michigan trip, I think he was ready to switch over to a crossbow anyway so it all should work out. We'll get it sighted in for the upcoming PA trip in early Nov and see how his success rate changes.
