I'm a bit embarrassed to mention this, but seeing how we may never meet, I feel comfortable asking it only here.
The day before my hunts I try to take extreme caution with what I consume, but sometimes I still get gas the next day in the stand. I've tried holding it in, but that only produces gastrointestinal pains. I usually end up letting them rip. It doesn't seem to bother the deer. I've had small bucks in front of me and downwind that have never spooked when I do this, so I don't think there is any harm. I would just rather not have to chance it by lifting the leg and letting the air escape.
Just curious if there is anything you do that prevents you from getting gas the next day in the stand.
