Greetings, dear friends, ladies and gentlemen hunters. I am from Russia. I am very interested in the use of scents in the hunt.
In our country this kind of production is not represented at all. And there is no tradition of using scents to hunt and in particular in the Big Game.
Reading multiple American informations thread about using scents to hunt, you know that your hobby can be made more interesting, high-quality and productive.
That's the question that interests me at present the most. Who uses scents to hunting, what species it is and what producers do you prefer?
I apologize for my English. Thanks to all involved.

Hey Eduard welcome to the club. Glad to have you here buddy and greetings from Western New York. I use scents mainly to attract whitetail deer and that's about it. I'm not sure what kind of deer you have in Russia but there may be something available to help you out in your area.

Hello. Thank you for your reply. I suspect that your whitetail deer must be like for our Siberian roe deer. But this is only a guess. So do not you try scents, can not know their effect on our deer.
In addition we have two kinds of Elks. This Maral, and Manchurian deer. Besides the East Siberian moose.

When choosing scents for order in the United States, I desired to know the ratio of hunters to specific manufacturers and product-specific. Although some statistics to learn to reduce their risk wasting time and money.
welcome to the club

thanks

Hey guys! Let's continue to trade. I very much appreciate your opinion as professionals.
Eduard, hello and welcome to the club. I mostly use doe in heat scent products while archery hunting during the rut. I try to set up on scrape and rub lines and will make false scrapes to try to set up a buck for a better shot. We'd like to hear of your hunting exploits!

Greetings Eduard, welcome to the club. I think roe deer are the ones that are most cooperative to calling, Do you use Roe Deer calls to call them into range?
I don't think attractant scents would be very effective on roe deer and using scents may even ruin your hunts.
You can ask other hunters or look for hunting clubs in your region to see what hunting methods are most affective and go from there.

Good Luck!!!

Thank you all! Thanks for the salute! Thanks to this fraternity of hunters. Well, I do because of their epistolary possibilities describe our hunt, but it needs a little wait.

Yes, of course use the call during the rut. My hunting experience about 20 years. Previously used the call hand-made. Last season Swedish decoy Nordic Roe. But this short time of the year. Other time I`m use and other traditional Russian hunt hoofed game. Our science does not study the influence of odors to attract game, and our industry does not produce such products as yours.
Accordingly, our hunters do not know and do not use scents for hunting. But my inquisitive mind, a desire to experiment, to make interest and try to use these things. And do not be afraid that something can not happen. A negative result, also the result. The same hunting. Do not go to the store for meat.
welcome eduard from the TATOR! Would love to see some pics of the deer and elk in russia if you have any...
