Holy cow, I paid $19.99 for 3 TC flints at Bass Pro, they probably paid $3.00 for them. Ouch! :surprised:

i forget the name of the guys but i get a dozen flints for like $12 shipped. Pierce maybe? I forget the name.
FG, are those sawed agate; black, yellow real flints??

Wow, I'd like to know where you got those too. I've been keeping my eye out for something that was a decent price but still worked well.
Rich Pierce! Just sitting here and it hit me LOL. I will see if i can find his contact info. I havent ordered flints in about 2 years so im unsure of price.
FG, are you grinding a sharp edge or actually chipping/flakeing a new edge? I would be interested in where you are getting them and what material they are.

He sends you 13 flints, You try one in your rifle, If your rifle likes it you send him a check. If not, send back the flints no questions asked.
They are white Missouri Chert and spark like crazy.
Very good guy to deal with, ya cant beat the price or the service, They are the only flints I use.
