Hey, I was wondering what size vanes you guys would suggest I should use. Low profile or high profile. 1,2,3, or 4 in. vanes. Have any thoughts please let me know.:yes:

If shooting mechanicals i like a 2inch blazer or something similar.Shooting a fixblade you might want to stay with a 4 inch.

I use 4 inch with my fixblades! boo mechanicals

I'm a fix blade guy too. Tried the Rage but didn't care for them, many hunters do however.

Thanks guys!! I use the Carbon Express Lung Busters and F-15 expandable. So 2 inch for fixed blades and 4 inch for the mechanicals. Thanks!!

Historically speaking, you need to reverse that. 2" for mech's, and 4" for fixed. However, as stated I shoot 2" vanes with fixed blades and shoot a lot tighter groups now. Equipment advances has thrown most older thoughts right out the window. It would be a good idea to fletch 1/2 doz of each and see which ones fly the best with a specific broadhead.

2" Blazers & NAP quickspin w/ my Rage
started w/ the 4" & as HM stated I also got tighter groups w/ the 2"
