I started a threat like this on a forum some time back and it really became an a entertaining and informative subject.

I'll start with something probably everyone has heard. but I have had several situations that this advice has actually proved to be sound.

BE PATIENT. BE PATIENT. BE PATIENT!!
I have had several hunts that were turning into the biggest waste of time and I kept sitting and enduring myself past the point boredom and fatigue.
I continued surveying the woods even as I was lowering my bow when I spotted deer coming toward me. On one occasion, I only had time to raise the bow back up, nock and arrow and attach the release before they were on top of me. I didn't even have time to put my gloves back on.

How many times have things went all week with no bucks showing then last day, ten minutes left and presto he walks out. You have to hang in there no matter what cause you never know ......
I always say, "either you can walk a lot and see a little or you can walk a little and see a lot.
I think that's the best advice I can give anyone.

:goodposting: so if you sit still they must jump in your lap:lol:
this one was driven in by an old 1st seargeant. "pay attention to details".
Details will kill you or get you killed, or at the very least assure you go home empty handed.
