well in NY state we can hunt the fall and the spring my season opens tomorrow at sunrise 2 birds either sex ,i figure ill get out and try my luck and do some scouting small game at the same time.any body else do the fall hunt?

only if they walk by my bow stand, joel. i've only taken a couple fall birds choosing to concetrate on deer. deer and turkey archery start on the same date

It's the same here in Vermont, deer and turkey archery begin the same time.
I'm like ronn I focus more on deer but if a nice turkey presses his luck, thanksgiving dinner may have an addition to the feast.

we get a 2 week head start on the turkeys then they both run together .didnt make it today as i was hurting:yucky:

Our fall archery and firearms turkey season was closed 1 week before srchery opened. Haven't seen to many birds this year. A lot of thought went into it, but the spring is still on.
