Just so I get a reply. I like mine and so does the bridge of my nose, it doesn"t miss getting smacked.

Do you like your Nikon Slughunter?
I'm just curious if anyone else likes their slughunter. The bridge of my nose really likes mine!

Is the field of view narrower with this scope to get the extra eye relief? I have a Ruger no 1 that is not an easy rifle to mount a scope for full viewing.

The #1s can be a pain to scope. Mine seem to work now with one having an older Leupold M8 4X (longer tube than a new 4X) and the other two both wear Leupold VXI 2-7x33 and their 4+" seem to do the trick.Is the field of view narrower with this scope to get the extra eye relief? All I can tell you is the eye relief is 5 inches which allows me a lot more confidence on my shot
