A friend of mine sujested "Deer Cane" a liquid lure that has all the minerals and whatother goodies deer like. Ya just pour it on the ground and suposivly the deer cant leave it alone. It was 6 bucks for a gallon and I figured what the hell, why not try chemical warfare? I put it out this evening and will try again in the A.M. maybe it will work and they will hang around long enough for me to bag one.

Let me know how you like the DeerCaine, I have been buying Deer Mineral from Ralston Purina, comes in a 25 or 50 pd. bag.
We just dig a shallow hole pour it out and throw a little dirt on top. I think this mineral is as much a dietary supplement as anything else but they really do go after it.:yes:

well personaly I didnt care for it, it tasted bad and reminded me of cough syrup. But the deer seemed to love it. I put it out last night and when I checked it this morning there was no sign of any visitors over the night. This afternoo however when I checked it there wasnt a signle corn on the ground and they had almost dug a hole big enough to break your ankel. I have been hunting this area sence Thanksgiving and have yet to see much activity at the feeder between sunup and sunset, nor have the deer left much in the way of visable tracks. But today it looked as if a truckload have deer was dancing under the feeder. They realy liked this stuff, and acording to the bottle they will keep coming back. The deer dug at the dirt so much trying to get this stuff that they literaly dug a hole. So there ya go, for 6 bucks a gallon jug its worth a shot.
