Well another year has past and while I didn't get to tag a deer for 2007 I did get to enjoy the hunt with Phillip getting his first ever Bow harvest, that alone is worth more to me than filling my own tags..

I can hardly wait until next years Deer hunting seasons to get back here so I can dive in to do it all over again.

Good luck to the rest of you who still have hunting time left..

Congrats again to phillip. He was the highlight of your season. That stinks you did not get to fill your tag yourself this year. There is one thing awesome about hunting though. Even if you dont tag one you still get the enjoyment of being outside spending some quality time with nature away from all the other crap that goes on in this world...

Here in tenn on my lease we are showing no signs of the rut yet... It never heats up for us on the mountain until late dec.

it almost seems unfair your season is already done...

Hey Buck, you could always invite the forum members of the Northeast down to your lease. It seems like you feel sorry for us Northerners a little bit. HAHAHAHA. I hope you have a great experience when your rut kicks into high gear. GO GET EM
