Persimon tree, the deer love this fruit and it stays well into the season. also makes a good Jam or jelley.




Winter wheat and clover field will provide late witer and early spring forage.

It does very well. In the food plots I use the Crimson clover that comes up in the winter months and the the Lespedeza that will come up in the spring and grow through the summer. I also sow the wheat at heavier rates (up to 80lbs per acre) than what the typical ag. operation would do. The deer in my area keep it cut down to the ground. My largest plot is 2 acres and the smalllest is about 1/4 acre.

Yes, the progress is slow but sure. Had a lot of the brush cleaned up last summer and I hope to get a pond in this next summer if the money holds out.
