I would suggest saving your hard earned money for one more year and look for a nearly new used higher end brand model. As Ronn said resale value wil not hold on the cheaper models, if this is a consideration later. Instead of 3-4 hundred, spend 6-8 hundred and have a really great new looking o/u that you just might keep and possibly make it a hand-me-down. Just like buying a truck, patience usually will reap rewards. I know money isn't going very far these days, but I wouldn't sink my hard earned dollars in the lower end gun market, thats just me. The only exception to this is duck hunters where the gun is thrown around the boat and gets banged up, maybe I would find something cheaper. I still like fine wood and hate it when I put a scratch in it. Good luck on your purchase.
