I've heard that. Is there a raw or unbleached or something about rice brand? I haven't checked here at AGWAY but I wonder?????
it looks like flour, you get it when they turn brown rice, to white, you need a friend that works at a rice mill.

what

im 12 and dont know what is rice brann
hay dylanhutchinson rice brann is what comes off the rice when its changed from brown to white ....its probably got all the vitamins in it ..it looks like flour....i think they make oil out of it....thats all i know...to get it you have to have a friend from a southern state that grows rice that works at a rice mill
rice bran is the meal after the shell the rice. It is a tanish brown smells sweet. Deer love it but it spoils very quickly so use small amounts at a time. It is used mostly as a filler for animal feed since it is so cheap but it actually has 12% protain, 12% crude fat, 12% fiber so it is good for the deer also. Here in Mississippi it costs somewhere between 6.50 to 10.00 for 50 lbs. You can buy bulk 1500 lbs for about 150.00 and up. Hope this helps
