I'm thinking of buying a Browning X-bolt in 25-06 this fall anyone got any comments on this model, I have always wanted a 25-06 I almost bought one two years ago but bought a .270 instead. I like the look an feel of the browning but are they really as accurate as they claim?

Sorry, I don't know about the Browning XBolt, but if you want a really accurate rifle that absolutely does what the manufacturer claims (3 shot 1 inch groups @ 100 yds.) and costs less than most rifles including the Browning, buy a Tikka 3 Lite. Everyone I have met who owns one says they can't be beat. I own one also. I has a very similar feel to the Browning and is stainless/synthetic.
