We start out on our lease at the bottom of the mountain. Got multiple fields and then mountains on both sides and we work our way up the sides of the steep stuff. We have a massive washed out ditch/gulley between 2 fields at the bottom that we want to build a 4 wheeler bridge across. This will make it much easier to get a deer out driving on level ground rather than trying to drive at an angle with a deer on the 4 wheeler on the side of the mountain. Plus it will make it easier and quicker going in and out.

I got 2 24ft telephone poles. Talk about a pain to load by hand. We get down there and measure and where we use to cross we would have needed a 32 ft or so pole to make it across. We are just going to move the bridge to a narrower gap somewhere. I dropped the poles off today and when it cools down a little we will head back out and try to clear us a new road and bridge build for a day. The gully is so step now we have had to drive up the mountain and around for the last couple of years or so.

Nope.. other than a chainsaw and we will proabably have to use a front end loader to get he pole up on the other side of the ditch. Its probably about 8 ft deep and we are to scrawny to proabably hold it up over our heads and throw it over the bank at the same time. We need a couple of TG's for that.

It does sound like a fun project, I only hope the day you decide to tackle it on is much cooler than these hot days we've been having.
