After a suggestion, thought I'd pass along some recent bow problems. I posted a problem with a new Bear Lights Out model and returned it to Cabela's after string jumped the idler wheel on first shot. The next purchase was a Bass Pro Toxik made by Diamond Bows and returned today due to a splintered lower limb. This is the second Toxik bow limb problem as reported by the shop. Now have bought son a new Reflex Ridgeline. Really tired of bow shopping. I'm sure these are most likely isolated problems but for the money spent, I'm pretty picky. Hope son appreciates Dad's efforts/money???????

I hope your son is aware of what you went through for his Bow.
What you went thru means more than all the dollars you've spent and I hope he understands that too...
Reflex Ridgeline? yummy! You're all set now, problems solved!

Son will be home friday, we'll see if he can be pleased. He called me tonight to say he shot a doe with his buddy's bow, 17 yds. Ohio is pretty liberal where he is hunting, and only off campus a short drive.

I like PSE also Ron. It took me a while to find a bow I liked, shot well, and was confident in (after my first bow). PSE filled the bill. Not the fastest, or lightest, or best looking, but suits me well.....

Dad shoots a Mathews, son will be shooting a Reflex. I think I have things in perfect order. ronn, I shot an older PSE many years ago, my brother hunted with a PSE. I think they still have a good product. The weight always seemed a bit higher. With the guys I hunt with no PSE Bows are used? We have Hoyt, Reflex, Browning and of course Mathews. Also have 1 10 pt cross bow, we give him a break at 77 years old and open heart surgery.

Bruce I know your not joking just trying to make them feel good about themselves I mean if everybody had a bow that shot like a reflex there wouldn't be any deer left on the planet :boxing::biggrin:

Rozman is a highly educated bowhunter, just need to work on the others. Over time Mathews will become your bow of choise, there's no getting around it. Don't waste precious hunting time using inferior equipment :yucky:, move to the top, switch to a Mathews:w00t: and feel the difference. My name is Hunting Man and I endorsed this message!
