The reason so many dieffrent calibers are produced is because there is no one size that fits all. Limiting yourself to one caliber is a ludicrous idea . it's not how real life works. If you think I'm saying this is a dumb question well, you would be right.

Ronn, I've had borsesnakes for my Benelli and 300 WSM for the last couple years. I think they are great for taking along when going hunting - leave in the truck, or, in a coat pocket, but I don't use them for regular cleaning after a session at the range. I like using new clean patches for that. The closest thing to a Boresnake for regular cleaning is the Otis system which is another breech to muzzle system. Otis Technology, Inc.

I have one in .22 cal and in .30 cal that I use quite regularly. They work very well for getting most of the stuff out.
