hey yall, i know it's a been a little while since ive been on here...just been trying to find a job and whatnot, which is very hard btw lol. not having much luck. but just thought id share some pics of my summer so far....oh, and i should be having some pics up pretty soon of my droptine buck that's at the taxidermist now, he said he should be done hopefully around the 15th of july =]

we went on a fishing trip to Louisiana about 2 weeks ago...it was a lot of fun!
-some kinda otter/weasel/ferret thing that was running around on the rocks while we were fishing (anyone have any ideas what it is?)

-my first trout!! that was too small to keep =/

-end of the day catch...9 trout and 1 redfish

-burning oil wayy out in the Gulf...the smoke slowly started taking over the clear blue sky, and after a couple hours it looked like it was going to rain there was so much smoke in the sky

-found this little guy in our yard one morning! lol we're guessing some dogs ran him under the hotwire fence and he just decided to lay right by the front porch

no, we were fishing in the channel and in the lake/bay...but didn't see any oil at all...
very nice fish catch! Great pictures as usual. That animal looked like the pine martins we see in Colorado mountains, but I doubt its the same animal.
I love the pics ETD, thanks for sharing with us.
I think the little ferret looking animal you captured is an American Mink, they're great little fisherman and lots of fun to watch...

Nice pics. We have a bunch of little calves around our house too. They get out all the time here. Fun to watch.
Good Luck in your job search, something will come about sooner or later for you. Can't wait to see the droptine buck pics too, I'm sure that will look awesome. As always you provide the best pics to share with us here. That oil leak is a terrible situation. 1st the oil flowing into the Gulf then the smoke from the burn.
