Beaten up!

I know i have totally beaten up this topic but i need some serious input! I cant choose between the the TC Impact, TC Omgea z5, CVA Optima. I really like the omega but seems like the cva for the price might be the better deal. I'm totally new to mL and want to make a good choice with my money! Thanks in advance!

Muley, me too. probably have owned more that a dozen or more ML'ers over the years and still have several in the vault, but I seem to pick up the TC ones the most. However, the one I (like) shooting the most is a 54 self built full stock flint Hawken. It's getting on the heavy side now for me but it will shoot well if I do my end of things. Flintlocks, shooting black powder now that's ML hunting!
My favorite is a Renegade .54 cal with a Green Mountain 1-70 twist 32" barrel. Really shoots a PRB great. I may change the stock to a more Hawken style. Then i'm thinking about a better lock..

Ha Ha.....Not much Renegade is left.
try track of the wolf, they have some nice preinlet stocks for tc.
whats the other one Reinhart feigen something like that.

tc renegade. i still have my 54 it was my first ml. only got the renegade because the hawkens was more money and being a freshman in high school money was short. ive only had one misfire with it after getting caught in several freak thunderstorms.
my first was a flint Lyman 54, followed by a TC 50 cal perc hawken, then all hell broke loose.:surprised:
I lost the sight in my right eye, and I had to learn to shoot left handed. It was really hard to find a LH TC Hawken. They made some, but they're hard to find. The Renegade doesn't have a cheek piece, so shooting it LH is not a problem.

This is the stock i'm looking at for it. He'll make it left handed for me.

FG.These are the guys who make the stocks for TOW. Might as well go to the source.

I enjoy my bow, shotgun, and smokepole bout the same, but lately I am really getting into shooting my muzzy which happens to be an Accura... I have owned one other muzzleloader a .45 cva hunterbolt, that cheap gun killed a deer each time I aimed and shot:thumbup:, thats why a bought the Accura. Oh yea I may get me a crossbow someday, but really, I arrowed a buck at 12 yds. this past season... that was great!
my last bid is still holding on that traditions. IF I would get it, it will be son-in-law's birthday/Christmas, birthday ect present. Maybe I can get him into ml hunting with a little investment.
Muley that's where I got all my Hawken stuff from. I also had them mill the sight dovetails, machine cut much better than file cut. I put a CM-4 curley maple stock on it.
Thanks for all the info guys! My research is leading me to the Omega Z5.
I love bow hunting! I think ML is peeking my interest because you have one shot...... make it count.
TC Guns

I shoot an Omega Z5 and absolutely love it. Light, accurate, and easy to use and clean. What more could you ask for?
What load do you shoot? What grain and kind of bullet you use? Thanks!
I shoot an omega using 250 grain superglides and a 100 grains of triple seven.I find the superglides to be quite accurate...
I agree the TC super glides in 250 gr are a very accurate load. I shoot 100 gr BH powder.
