Do have to relay the story about the last time I tried shooting something out the back door, BEFORE we try doing something like that again.
Last time, it was a raccoon that was taking up permanent residence ON the back porch. I pulled out the single shot .410, loaded it, then went for the ****. Problem was, the long drapes that hang down covering the sliding back door kinda sorta got in the way. Oh, I certainly blew a hole in sump'n, but it sure wasn't that ****. Mama still rags me about that every now and then.
But y'all are certainly welcome to 'stop by' . . . and I'll have a pot o' coffee waitin for ya.
Maybe then we can discuss a 'long term lease' for that .243 that my youngest son has outgrown. Hmmm, maybe if I can get daughter #3 interested in hunting, she may end up with it instead of my #1 grand-daughter . . . . . . . . . . .
