I think, perhaps, the major additional differences (besides one being bow and the other typically for gun) is the minimum qualifying scores needed for each. I may be mistaken, but I believe the minimum score for P&Y is 120" and for B&C 170" for net typical whitetails (for instance). I believe that as far as scoring and trophies eligible, I think they must be harvested in North America.Can someone explain the differences of these two classes of scoring deer such as is P&Y only for bow hunting and B&C is for Gun or is it where in the country you shoot your buck? Ive asked this to many people and they all have different ideas of what they mean. Thanks
As for bow hunting and P&Y scoring, there is also a maximum let-off allowed for compound bows too, I believe. Cross-bow harvests are not allowed either, as far as I know.
