No I have not. I have been reading a lot food plots lately. I will be putting some in this year. I plan on using a mix of Durana and Patriot clovers. Buckmasters web site has a lot of articles on food plots that were informative to me.
I did try antler king, with weather so important I can't say one way or another if it was poor seed or poor weather that made for a less than desirable crop. lately I have been using farmer quality seeds and seem to get equal results at far less cost. Proper seed bed/feretilizer/lime if needed/weed control and good weather equals good crop. Good luck!
I have not tried any of the pre mix it allways seemed expensive to me. We buy seed from the co-op in bulk. Winter wheat, cow peas, rape and then over seeded with three types of clover. It seems to bring them in all year. Everything but the clover is gone by spring but the clover stays all year.
