I had to do it. I have actually been looking for this Marlin XL7 in .25-06 for a few months now. I finally secured one last Sat. I plan on putting on a 4x12x40 scope and using it for coyote/whitetails. I need to break in/sight in and find the right loads to optimize accuracy.

Marlin sets the triggers out of the factory from 3.2-3.5#. I set mine to 3.0#. There is very little trigger creep. I do not own a Savage so I have never used an Accu-trigger or Marlins Profire trigger. I've got to shoot it soon but have to wait for better weather.
