We went horseback riding this past Sat. Started on top of the mountain and rode down. In the pic of the horses the one on the left is one of the ones I just got.

Nice but where's the snow? lol Looks pretty much like the area I grew up in, Giles County.

We haven't ridden our horses on a trail ride for several months. Waiting for better footing. Too icy or muddy right now. I'm getting itchy, but it won't be much longer.

Here are some photos from one our our rides from last year.


Oaky and me after a climb to 8500 feet. He was a little tired. Me too.


My wife, Linda, and her Arab. She's the real horse person in the family. Maybe you can call her a "whisperer".


A calf elk that we rode right by. The horses didn't smell it nor saw it because it just froze.

WOW Them are all awesome pics guys... Beautiful horses!!!
That Calf Elk photo should be in a magazine, Onehorse, you and the Mrs. are so lucky to have captured that moment...

And oh yeah Ronn we got a whopping quarter inch of snow about 3 days before this ride. On the day we rode it was a beautiful 65 degrees.

I agree GREAT pics. I miss horses as well, even more I miss the no more snow and 65.
