We got a new member that I just wanted to share with everyone in the forums. Member nick yeary uploaded some of his pics of his step-son eric. I wanted to put the pics here too so the members that dont frequent the gallery can also share their thoughts and comments. He has a very nice set-up. And I would also like to tip my hat to nick for all the work he does in carrying and helping eric out on his hunts.

Here are the pics.

That's awesome, I love to see the creative ways that handicapped people engineer/fabricate things that allows the freedom to do the stuff they want!!

Welcome, congrats, and WOW. I'd love to have one of those. I have three uncles that always took me hunting and now they can't get around too good anymore. Full circle I guess they always took me and my cousins and now we take them. One of those would be great to get them off the ground and in the air again.

Thanks. I hunt out of it more than Eric and I am not disabled. Just don't like to climb that much.

I started building this machine for my quad stepson Eric 4 years ago so he could get back into the trees. This has been the third year he has hunted out of it. I did file for a patient and was awarded a patient pending back in October of 07. It will take a while to get it going. Even if it doesn’t it has been worth it just to see the difference it has made to Eric.

What an hunting machine. Thanks for sharing a great story. This shows why most hunters are great people willing to help and give when needed.
