Nice one. I am assuming that was a crossbow if it was a 67 yd shot.

no it was supposed to have been with a compound I dont know the guy but a friend of mine does he says that the guy can really shoot and that an 80yrd shot is supposed to be nothing.myself I would have to see it to believe it!
WOW, what's the average shot yardage for yall with a bow?

most everyone stays inside of the 40yrd mark I myself 30 is max
this is the write up in the paper. i agree it is a long shot. i wouldnt have tried it. a friend of mine assures me this guy would be the one to do it.

67 yards?! that is not even ethical
I guess he's one of us that thinks the arch should be left in archery. That's what it's designed and intended for. If you're only accurate out to the point your arrow starts to drop or arch then that's not archery.
Todays bows allow longer shots to be taken. With a good sight and fast bow the shot can be made. The question is: was the shot ethical? I know my max yardage is 30 so I would have had to wait for a closer shot or another day. Chuck Adams might say 67 yds is well with-in his kill zone. My son with his Mathews can shoot 50 yds day in and day out. Every hunter has to know his max yardage and stay in it! I wish I could see one of those bucks inside of 25 yds he'd be history.
