NEW PHOTOS: Bighorn Basin Classifieds - Your Bighorn Basin Classifieds
This rifle was originally a .338 RUM - now with a new Douglas sporter barrel - so it WILL feed and cycle from the magazine.
(A no-go on converted long-action 700s - internal width at the lower bolt rails = single feed only.
'Been there - done that - with a 700 .338 WM.
The RUM rds. would go in the magazine - but jam on the way up!
-'Was a pisser...I hunt in grizzly country...'sold that one...bought this one.)
(Now, I need to buy more Automotive tools.)
The new barrel has less than 150 rds. through it.
'Can shoot under 1-inch at 100-yards with hunting bullets.
(Nosler 210-gr. Partitions going 3100+ fps.)
What will it do with 210 Swift Sciroccos, 250 and 300-gr. SMKs?
The rifle is rather light - standard 700 BDL sporter in weight.
The muzzle brake is amazing in reducing muzzle rise and felt recoil. -Quite stationary, indeed.
And the Sako-style (AR-15-style) extractor is positive and easy on the brass.
If you can handle a (brakeless) .300 WM - you can handle this rig in the field.
$950. (Guncase included.)
FREE S/H (49 States) to your FFL/Dealer.
