Still cant justify the short mag craze and i own a 300wsm.You get the cartridge in a short action but ammo cost and benfits are debateable.Take my 300wsm more power than an 06/but not as powerful as 300win mag.For the cost of ammo id buy the 270 or 06.If u need more than go 300 win mag.
