Ron, I believe that wildcat is a 7mmSTW necked down to 25 caliber. James Ferguson, the guy who developed it, shot a 100 gr. Barnes TSX bullet completely through both shoulders of a 2,500 pound bull bison. Killed him in his tracks! Shows what good bullet construction/super velocity and placement can do. I had been thinking about using the Barnes bullets, and the story about the Hot Tamale finally convinced me to start loading them. I'm driving a 110 gr. Barnes TTSX bullet out of my 270WSM at an average 3559 fps. Haven't killed anything with it yet, but don't think whatever it meets up with will be going very far!
