I have a Marlin 30/30 I hunt with and was wondering if it mattered which grains I use. 150gr. or 170gr.:confused:

160 grn Hornady Leverevolutions.
I'll second that one!!!

Used to swear by Remington Core-Lokt's in 150 grain.
(Found out the hard way that 170 is too slow, bullets wouldn't penetrate.)
Son dropped his "trophy" buck using Core-Lokt in 150 grain.

Then I heard about the "new" Hornady round. Tried it, liked it, ain't goin' back!
Buck I got last year was with the Hornady round. Picture is in the gallery. :wink:

Thanks! I'll try to find a box or two.Is Hornady the only brand that sells the 160 grain?
