I have this happen and it is usually a memory issue on the computer. Basically the new computer OS's are using up the majority of it and viewing pictures use up the rest. If you are running a windows...

I really hope you are not shooting at an animal...

I really hope you are not shooting at an animal at 800 yards.

Your chance of wounding it is way to high to take the shot.

Shooting at steel targets or paper is one thing, an animal is...

It will be devistating if hornady gets out

I remember reading over 20 years ago that Hornady makes the largest number of bullets in the largest number of calibers. I have never reloaded using Rem Core-locks but I have loaded thousands of...

Shotgun/BP Scopes

If I remember correctly the largest difference with the exception of a specialized reticle in some is that they are set with a parallax correction of either 75 or 100 yards. This compares to a rifle...

Always wanted a Win 88 carbine in 308

I don't think they ever made a pre 64 version of the Model 88 in a carbine so I would have to be happy with the post 64 version. I think that they balance really nice in the carbine version. The only...

Looks like the 150gr bullets are going to get a try

I will buy a box and see how the rifles like them. Not that lead in the meat is a major issue but with a non lead bullet that will be eliminated. I don't use max loads so hopefully the pressures will...

Has anyone tried the Hornady GMX bullets

I am about to buy some 30cal 165gr GMX bullets and try them in my 30-06s. Has anyone got any good or bad experience with them that they can share? I usually shoot 165gr loads in my 30-06 and I wonder...

Don't feel bad...

It sounds like you tried hard over several days to finish it off. Some animal had a good meal. There is a big difference between not tracking at all and working your butt off trying to find the...

Time to start reloading

Here is a thought for the price of several boxes of factory 300 H&H you could be a long way toward having the equipment you need to reload for the rifle. A very basic loading press is not that...

I haven't shot a Henry yet???

The only thing weird about the Henrys are the brass receivers and the tube magazine filled like the old marlin 39s. Without a loading port on the side of the receiver it seems wrong.

My friends that are hard core fishermen are still trying to get their arms around the fishing limits over the last 5 to 10 years. There are fish here but in some locations what you can keep is very...

The equipment that Marlin had at the plant were worn out. Documentation present at the plant did not reflect the that. The factory workers with decades of experience knew what the settings on the...

You make a valid point...

I for one have hunted with a pistol once. Missed a Deer, that I would have not missed with my rifle. The writers in print write about making it a challenge again to hunt with a handgun. I don't think...

I also stupidly sold off a Win 94 Trapper in 44mag

I also sold off an angle eject non sliding safety Win 94 trapper in 44mag. Oh well. I preferred the Win 94 as I thought it was smoother than the Marlin 1984 when I bought it. I also think it is...

Moving

Someone told me years ago that we all should be required to move every 7 years. Anything still in boxes 7 years later you don't move again.

Can you reload 444 with 44mag dies??

The 444 is a longer 44 mag case, I always wondered if you needed new dies to load it. I think you may otherwise it wouldn't full size it.

Our hunting this year for Rifle/Deer in MN was a bust. We didn't see anything. My Son did have a couple of shots with his 54 cal ML during the BP season but he didn't connect.
