How to choose the right sight for hunting

Before each of those who use firearms or pneumatic weapons, at one time the question arises of how to choose the right sight for him. It does not matter whether you are engaged in shooting sports, whether you hunt quail or wild boar, or maybe you are a professional military man. Properly selected optics will always work for you and help out in any situation.
LASER SIGHTS
Laser sight, also called target designator (LC). Creates a light mark at the intended point of impact. Achieved by sending a light beam of low power. When using a laser, we get a point of red, green, less often - blue pointed at the target. It must be borne in mind that under certain weather conditions, not only the mark of the sight will be visible, but also the laser beam itself. At the same time, some laser sights can operate in the infrared range of radiation, which are used in conjunction with night vision devices. The beauty of the laser sight is that we can closely monitor the object and simultaneously shoot. This is quite convenient, especially in conditions of partial or complete absence of lighting. From close range, we get the opportunity not to lose sight of the target, reducing aiming time to a minimum.
OPTICAL SIGHTS
The name of the sight speaks for itself. The design contains a system of lenses, the diameter of which is the main characteristic. The larger it is, the more light the lenses will collect and the brighter the picture will be in the field of view. An aiming grid is applied on one of the focal planes of the lens. It can be located both on the front focal plane (lens) and on the rear plane of the eyepiece. Nowadays, it is performed mainly by etching on glass, it is a crosshair, and may also contain a rangefinder scale. Using it, you can calculate the distance to the object, if its dimensions are known. The main characteristic of optical sights is parallax. It is the concept of a mismatch between the plane of the sight and the plane of the picture of the targeting object. This means that during aiming, having shifted the eye perpendicular to the axis of aiming, the image will “float” and become fuzzy. Therefore, optical sights are often equipped with a parallax regulation (detuning) mechanism.

Perhaps you are right, but I do not think that having bought a smart sight I will shoot more accurately.

You are wrong here. Clever targets give us the opportunity to shoot almost like professional and well-aimed shooters. When I bought a Smart HD day and night vision sight (by the way, I bought it here https://www.atncorp.com/smart-hd-weapon-sight), I made sure of it personally.
