With deer season kicking off the majority of varmint hunting is winding down (groundhogs) so I just wondered what your varmint weapon of choice is. Some people use their deer rifles for varmint but others like me have specific guns for their varmint encounters.
TC Encore 204 ruger with thumbhole laminate stock 1.5 lb trigger pull
Weaver Classic 6x24x42 glass with target turrets and ballistic click charts just range, dope the scope and hold dead on at whatever range.
I just picked up a Winchester mod 70 in 22-250 that was used to shoot competitions before the previous owner passed on. I plan on putting the same glass on it and working up a ballistic click chart for it as well.
So whats yours?
