rdrader2002 Have "only" a Ruger Blackhawk in .357 Magnum with 6 1/2 in barrel. Posted some of the specs on the ballistics from it in another posting and most of y'all said it really wasn't "enough". So I carry it along now just in case I'm a little off with my aim and only wound one.

Gamestalker I've taken several deer with my T/C Contender in .35 Remington & one with my S&W model 29 .44 magnum. I carry the .44 every year even if I'm not using it as my primary weapon.

Are the handgunners dead?

Hey guys,
anyone on here hunting or going to hunt deer with their handgun? Where do you hunt? What do you use? I use a 454 Casull in the Thompson Encore with a 12 inch barrel and a Burris Variable handgun scope. Going to the gigantic state of Delaware in Jan.
