Hunting Man | Sad people believe they have to post things they have no knowledge of. |

Troytown33 | I guess that my quest for accuracy is higher than most and that is what sets me apart from most average riflemen. I would gladly take your money anytime , on any marksmanship contest. You have no idea my friend .Thanks for the forum it makes me smile . Semper Fi |

Hunting Man | WD, I'm with you on this one. I'm also glad for the states that don't allow small calibers for deer hunting. Nothing wrong with a 243 to start with for deer. |

WisconsinDeer | I would NEVER use a .20 cal on a deer, its also illegal being that .22 cal is the minimum. I like to use .30 calibers. |

eight point | I had shot well over that thru the first one (barrel) . I replaced it with a new barrel at dakota arms with an added two inches and ported.Shot over 1000 thru the new one since April. I never realy saw much accuracy drop in either barrel, just wanted to get a little more distance and less jump. Need to keep an eye on those pressures !!! flattened primers are a good indicator. |

ronn | how many rounds have you put down that 22.250? i read somewhere barrels were only good for 2000 rounds, or should i say at about 2000 rounds throat erosion started to become an issue. guess thats the problem with those smoking fast rounds. |

Magnus | Theres a old saying "Becareful of the man with one rifle, he may know how to use it". I like that saying, i like being proficient and i like being able to be versitile with one gun. To know you and your rifles limitations and capabilitys so you are an effective hunter in all situations, to me is real hunting. |
