tator HOLY COW! NOW THAT'S A CHEVY! Was going to tell you to go with the VETTE, but heck, that baby there looks sweeeeeet!!!
Had the opportunity to drive/store/enjoy a corvette for awhile about 3 years ago. 60th anniversary edition. WOW. Best memory I have of it,, was on a 4 lane hwy in rural north central MO and came to a turn-off in the median to turn around and head back south (was traveling north), and a car (old mustang- nothing special) pulled out and was in the right lane as I u-turned and headed south in the left lane, they gunned it, I waited... I gunned it, BYE BYE. The look on their faces as I blew by them, priceless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RoundSeat What a cool car. How much did you give for it?

I have been there it hurts

I have moved my Grandmother once and then went through everything after her death later. What do you do with 96 years of history. We also had to go through on everything with my Mom prior to assisted living. A few special items are kept along with the pictures but it really makes you sad......

Hunting Man Sadly I have to move my mom into assisted living. Talk about how to deal with all the stuff! Probably an estate sale in the future.

Scorpion8 That would make it easy to move, less easy to maintain some history. There are prized possessions out in some of those boxes, just waiting for a spot. The right spot. Not just any spot.

Someone told me years ago that we all should be required to move every 7 years. Anything still in boxes 7 years later you don't move again.

Scorpion8 When we moved into our current house, we had the movers stage everything in the garage and then we slowly moved stuff in bit by bit. Trouble was we decided on new furniture, new (fewer) bookshelves, etc. So much of the stuff is still in the garage 10 years later. <sigh> ....

Never too much garage...

A guy that lived a couple of houses down from me moved into our neighborhood due to him downsizing. He had a six car garage home and moving down to a 3 car garage home. He said it was a pain but he could have used 12 cars worth of garage prior to the move. I guess whatever you have you will fill it. We used to have a Coleman popup in our 3rd stall of the garage and kept it there for over 10 years. We got a new camper sold the popup and the stall was suddenly filled with other stuff. At this time our 18ft Crownline fiberglass boat is sitting in the stall covered up. If we got rid of the boat something else would end up there.

Scorpion8 ....which is why you'll never see my garage! Nor sadly, will the cars.
