Hunting Man PA food plot report, mixed. Seems that the smaller plot has been hit with foxtail grass, hadn't ever had it before and probably had seeds lying dormant and tilling the soil gave them life, and the bigger plot that in the past had foxtail grass is clean and green. So, 50%, better than nothing but I was hoping for two great plots this year. Looks like a good spring total plant kill-off will be done and then re-plant. At least we have the equipment to do a better job now.

Hunting Man Called PA tonight and the report is, all green!! The food plots are growing really well. After planting the plots and fixing the sauna, a couple of other guys came in and laid a new pine floor in the camp. Sometime later this summer a new drywall ceiling will be installed. Camp will look very nice for this fall hunting. Firewood also has been cut, spit and stacked.

Hunting Man Sometime next week I'll be calling PA to see what has sprouted. I'm thinking about clover over seeding later this summer to fill in any bare spots.
