RobertSmith I have not done it yet, but had read some where that building own arrows are not terribly difficult and also not require a lot of special tools. Even arrows built by our own from carefully selected components and raw shaft will provide us better quality and will be worthy.

RobertSmith Yes, If you know how to do it then you can do it without any expensive bow saw. I haven't done it till now.

Hellbilly I would take them to my local sporting goods store and have them do it. Most around here do it for free. Last arrows I bought they cut them to size and glued in the inserts. Gander Mountain

gfdeputy2 Haven't done it myself yet
but have researched it & there are videos on youtube on how to make your own setup does not seem to be that hard to cut your own
just need to make a jig so arrows come out the same length & cut is straight. I have seen guys do it with a dremel tool with cut off wheel. I don't think that would be your best choice though

Does anyone cut your own arrows? CAN this be done with out buying the expensive arrow saws?
