gfdeputy2 Yeah I started mine to late last year also. I am hoping to break gound this weekend or next the field I am working hasn't been farmed since the 50's-60's so with the equipment I have I need to do it when it is wet (soft)
thinking of adding some Turnips, radishes & sunflowers (Turkeys)

Hunting Man have also been thinking about the PA plots and what I will try. Usually ground is pretty wet until late May. I'm thinking just mixing up several seeds and planting it. Whatever grows grows. Fertilizer use will be a 10-10-10. I missed planting last year but had some clover and chickory left over growing so the deer still hit the plots. Right now Ohio weather is hitting high 50's but rain for the weekend.

NH Food Plot

getting ready to break ground soon as snow melts here
this year I am doing a (2) 1 acre plots just picked up a bag of Tecomate Deer Pea Plus will do 1/2 acre & 1/2 acre in Biologic Outfitters blend
have not figured out what to plant in the other acre was toying with Corn but don't want to attract the other critters like bear & coons

Deer Pea plus: Ebony Peas, Long Juvenile Soybeans, hybrid White Grain Milo

Outfitters blend: New Zealand Triticale, Austrian winter peas, brassicas, clovers, wheat and oats

any ideas for my second 1/2 of the plot?
Must be hardy for the north
