Hunting Man
fall food plot

Spent the past weekend tilling two food plots in Pennsylvania. Hopefully, they get some rain and I get a decent fall growth. I planted a mix of seeds using oats, turnips, radish, clover, chicory, and even some no plow from Whitetail Institute. Saw one legal buck and many does with little ones. Next spring the plan is to chemical kill the plots and do soil test for lime and fertilizer needs. We use all new Black Boar ATV equipment with decent results. I'm in need of a used compact tractor as I have a tiller but no tractor right now. The tiller eliminates the need for most of the ATV implements. My 570 Polaris handled the implements without any trouble.
