|gfdeputy2||Congratulations to your son Karl & nothing wrong with a 4 pointer especially his first. To me it is all about the memory & the meat in the freezer|

My Son just got a nice 4 pointer near Dayton Ohio on Sunday
My Son is in Dayton Ohio for an Engineering Co-Op with Cargil. He is new to bow hunting, but got his first Deer with a bow on Sunday. It was on public land about 40 minutes from Dayton. It was only a 4 pointer but very well fed. He was going to buy a tree stand but he decided on a ground blind that worked great. The Deer is at the processor. He is very proud of himself. I had seven or eight phone calls on Sunday while I was trying to winterize my camper. He had never gutted out a whitetail. I had to talk him through it. He did great, and still has all his fingers. I wish I could have been there, but I sure felt like I was part of gutting it out.

Son brought his sd cards from this past weekend from SE Ohio. All I can say is wow. A really nice12pt, 4 10pts, couple of 8pts and smaller bucks. Most of these are on the new property that he has and at the stand location I helped pick. I probably lost my first dibs on that site. He is going back down this weekend to add to his wall. These bucks never showed up last year so it is exciting to begin this fall with potential.
