|gfdeputy2||I personally would not get a cheap electric one I would buy a cheap mechanical one & save up for a better electric one. I shoot a lot of clays in the summer & we usually have 3 stations going friend had a cheap electric & It didn't last the summer. skip a hand thrower also with the mechanical if I am by myslf I just put a longer rope put a loop on the end & pull it with my foot|

Clay pigeon thrower
Well, I got a Remington 870 for Christmas , and tomorrow I might go to the range and shoot some clays. This will be my first time skeet shooting, so I am hoping to get it right, and have a good experience. Should I buy an electric clay pigeon thrower, or a hand one.I have 80$ to spend on that, cleaning supplies, and ammo. I am stumped if I should get a 50$ electric one (which would be kind of risky), or buy a hand one. I would personally like the electric one, but which ever one will work better is what I am asking.
